Football Analyst Chris Sutton Faces Off Against Artist Murs in Top Flight Predictions

Arsenal's ten-match victorious streak came to an end by Sunderland before the international break, however will the Premier League frontrunners bounce back against local foes Spurs this weekend?

"{I believe like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this match," stated soccer specialist Chris Sutton.

"The Spurs manager will attempt to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating finest this season - but Mikel Arteta's side typically still manage to win."

Sutton is making predictions for all 380 Premier League fixtures this season, versus AI, readers and a range of special visitors.

For the twelfth round, he takes on singer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United fan.

Murs' latest album, Knees Up, is out on the weekend.

Soccer and Parenting Experiences

Olly is a talented footballer as well as a accomplished singer and has been a featured player of several charity football games down the years - but he is not intending a serious return as a footballer.

"{I actually played in a benefit game the other evening for a mate of mine," he explained. "The team was trailing 3-1 when I came off in the second half, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you will!

"I continue to love football, but I injured my knee a few years ago and it even now hasn't fully recovered. I hope I could play more but the unpredictability of the sport means it's too dangerous for me in my career to do it seriously again.

"Plus I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am preparing for the time that my child or boy chooses to play instead."

The singer and his spouse his partner have a young family, their daughter and their son, and he is prepared to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their manager.

"I won't force football on our kids but I've already told my wife that if they happen to get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will probably be managing their Saturday soccer team," he said.

"I watched my relatives play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I clearly owned a soccer team for a while too.

"My father coached with us when I was a child, which is probably where I inherited it. He coached our team for two or three years and had great fun with it. That might be the future for me as well, and I am excited to it!"

  • Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT

Chelsea may have to wait a bit longer for Cole Palmer's return from fitness issues but their offense is now more potent with Joao Pedro and Liam Delap both returned to fitness.

In my opinion this game will be quite tight, though. Burnley are disciplined and their sole at Turf Moor defeats so far have been against Liverpool and the Gunners.

It suggests a 1-1 tie to me, but I am in fact going to go with Chelsea to edge it for what would be their third Premier League win in a row.

The expert's prediction: 1-2

The singer's pick: The Blues will be too strong. 1-3

Artificial intelligence's outlook: 0-2

  • Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT

Bournemouth have been defeated in their previous couple games - albeit both of them were away - but they got thoroughly beaten by Aston Villa last time out which surprised me.

In contrast, West Ham secured two in a row before the international break and, although both of those fixtures were at home, they do look strong again.

The Hammers' only on the road win this campaign came at Forest in August, when their manager Nuno was still Forest coach.

So, what exactly do I go with here - can West Ham continuing their streak under their manager, or the home side bouncing back?

I will go with Bournemouth, because I think what happened against Aston Villa was a anomaly.

The pundit's forecast: 2-0

Olly's outlook: Bournemouth are performing strongly but West Ham have picked up under Nuno. 2-2

AI's pick: 1-1

  • Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT

Brentford were considered one of the favourites for relegation before the season began, but they have surprised a several people under Keith Andrews and are in good form with three wins in their past four matches.

A family member advised me to select Bees striker Thiago in my fantasy soccer squad a few weeks back and, unfortunately, I didn't listen.

Thiago will probably score again on Saturday but I am still not going to select him or support Brentford at Amex Stadium.

They have not had much success on the road this term, and Brighton are always decent at home. Brentford will attempt to attack on the counter-attack but I think Fabian Hurzeler's side carry much more of a danger.

Sutton's prediction: 2-1

The singer's prediction: It could be a match where you think there is going to be a many scores but it in reality turns out to be quite tight. 1-1

AI's prediction: 2-1

  • Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT

This is a massive game for the Cottagers, who have lost five of their past six matches.

They have got plenty of talent in their squad but it still feels like they could be dragged into a drop zone fight.

Regarding the Black Cats, well they are the unexpected success of the Premier League season so far.

Their display in the 2-2 draw with the Gunners last time out was superb. We have not witnessed any other team rough up the North London side like that this season, and they were fully competitive for them.

The logical choice to do to back the Black Cats here, because they are obviously able of roughing the hosts up too and, the previous occasion they were in west London, they beat Chelsea at the close of last month.

However I am not do that. Instead, I truly need to continue going against the away team with my forecasts. I am claiming a lot of credit for their positive results because they evidently love to prove me wrong.

Considering the home side's at Craven Cottage record, the only side they have been defeated by is the league leaders. Marco Silva's team will be absolutely eager for a positive outcome, so I am going to predict they will secure three much-needed points.

Sutton's forecast: 1-0

The guest's prediction: I'm aware the visitors are performing strongly and also that Fulham are on a bad streak... but Fulham have nonetheless been respectable at home this campaign. 2-0

AI's prediction: 2-0

  • Anfield, 15:00 GMT

It is a tough one to predict. Liverpool have suffered seven of their past 10 matches in all competitions, but could they be one of the sides who benefit from the {international break|
