Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really going ahead.
